What Happy Pawrents Have to Say
George + Amie
Tula + Joanna
Zurich + Kathleen + Kearstin
Katy has been taking my dog George on weekly hikes every Wednesday, and it has been a total game-changer. She has everything down to a science—always on time, super organized with pick-up and drop-off, and makes it all so easy for dog owners. George is completely comfortable hopping into her car, even with a pack of other pups already inside.
Every week they go on a different amazing adventure, and I always get a full update afterward—everything from where they went to how much potty action happened! Katy also sends the most fun, goofy photos of the dogs having an absolute blast. You can really tell how much she cares about each pup.
The best part? George comes home exhausted—and he's a high-energy dog who normally needs 3+ walks a day to settle down. After his hike with Katy, he just eats dinner and crashes for the night, which makes my Wednesdays so easy!
Katy’s communication is top-notch, and it's so clear how much she genuinely loves these dogs. I feel so lucky to have Katy help me out with G-man! He seriously loves her!! Highly, highly recommend!
I recently had the pleasure of hiring Katy to walk my energetic cattle dog, and I couldn't be more impressed with the she service provided. Katy is professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about dogs! She took the time to understand my dog's specific needs, preferences, and quirks, which made me feel immediately at ease. She arrived equipped with all the necessary gear, and always greeted my dog with enthusiasm and warmth. It's clear that she has a natural affinity with animals; my usually wary dog took to her right away. During the walks, she provided regular updates and photos, and treats which was a wonderful touch. After each walk, my dog returned happy and tired, a sure sign of a great outing! I am so happy with her service and will be looking forward to the next walk!
Katy stepped in the final weeks leading up to our wedding to be our dog handler when our usual dog walker unexpectedly canceled on us. Multiple times throughout the day, and afterwards we both agreed we were glad our dog walker canceled because Katy truly was truly a better handler in every sense of the word, and made our experience seamless, putting us at ease instantly. Wedding planning can be high anxiety, and taking portraits, with a 72 pound, young rambunctious dog is not easy. Katy texted us without prompting to let us know she picked him up early, took him on a walk without being asked to get some wiggles out pre-photos, and bought him a bandana for the occasion. When it came time to take pictures she was happy to yell his name, squeak a ball, sit him in good positioning, repeat commands, and do whatever necessary to help our photographer get the shot. He was truly happy and you can tell that in every single photo. Katy went above and beyond to take care of Zurich and us in every single aspect, and I could not recommend her highly enough. You can tell through all of her actions that she takes each job seriously, brings a passion, and love to her work, and approaches each client with incredible intuition to ask the right questions, and take proactive measures without prompting, letting you just soak in the day and not worry about all the little details. I mean a Pride bandana for a queer wedding, who does that?!?! And the answer, Katy.

Katy is the best with my pup! Juniper immediately loved her and couldn't wait to go on an adventure! She came back safe, happy, and ready for a long nap. We both can't wait until Juniper's next hike and I would 1000% suggest Paws2Peaks!!
